MARSEL’s “Fleur de sel” is a type of sea salt that is often considered a premium or gourmet salt. The term “fleur de sel” translates to “flower of salt” in French. It is named so because of the delicate, flaky, and slightly moist crystals that form on the surface of salt ponds as seawater evaporates. These crystals are harvested by hand, typically in coastal regions with salt marshes or salt pans.
We wanted to challenge ourselves and showcase our expertise in creating visually captivating content while providing actual value for the brand.
Our inspiration was drawn from the concept of a single salt flake initiating a chain reaction in the water, leading to its transformation and eventual evaporation, all while unveiling a picturesque island composed of vibrant flowers.
